Dorian Valenzuela is Founder and Owner of DV-Mechanics, a full-service Alfa Romeo and Porsche restoration, maintenance, and performance enhancement shop. With a lifelong obsession and passion for European automobiles, Dorian brings a deep background in aerospace and engineering to everything he works on in the shop. His high attention to detail and vast technical skills allow him to restore and custom build Alfa Romeo and Porsche motorcars, the core and passion of his business. Additionally, Dorian expertly builds engines that can deliver many miles of reliable performance. At DV-Mechanics, he also provides quality replacement parts, deals in popular brands of aftermarket high-performance components to dial in your suspension, and offers precision corner balance and string alignment with high quality calibrated equipment. Earlier in his career, Dorian served as an engineer and technician for 13 years with JPL/NASA in a space telescope group. During his time there, he provided support on several projects that currently orbit Earth – he even assembled several components that reside on Mars. Dorian also previously worked as a test engineer at SpaceX, and held a position with Singer Vehicle Design, where he helped test and develop various systems that are still used in cars built today.
